We at WFP know the value food has for the 100 million people we feed every year. We see the positive impact food has in people’s lives. There is enough food in the world to feed every child, woman and man on this planet. Yet, one-third of that food ends up rotting in trash bins, or spoiling during transportation and storage while 690 million people go to bed hungry every night.
